Child & Adolescent Therapist

About Us

We are a growing group practice seeking a skilled and motivated child and adolescent therapist to join our team. This is a part-time position that is hybrid and flexible.  We offer a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where you can make a real difference in the lives of children, teenagers, and their families.

The Role

In this role, you will provide individual, or family therapy to children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's life.

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed case notes.

  • Engaging in ongoing professional development.

We are looking for a therapist who is:

  • Licensed in California to practice as a therapist with children and adolescents.

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years of experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.

  • Independent, resourceful, and flexible.

  • Computer savvy and needs little to no guidance with online platforms.

  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

  • Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving.

  • Culturally competent and committed to providing inclusive care.
